Laundry is a four-letter word

"I have work to do, but I don't want to do it." Have you ever found yourself thinking and saying the same thing? It's sad, I just can't get motivated. Right now, I'm not even sure if the house was on fire I'd get out. Okay, that's a little extreme, but that's the way I'm feeling.

What's wrong with me? Maybe I'm rebelling. That's it. I'm rebelling against housework. Well, not so much the cleaning, it's the laundry. It never ends. It multiplies. Honestly, the laundry must pro-create all on its own. How it does it, I'll never know. Frankly, I'd love to stop doing it all together. However, the problem is, if I don't do it, no one will. Oh well, better get something started or the children will be going to school wearing dirty clothes and looking like hobos. And, I can't have that now or can I?...

Oh, you rebel, you! ;)

I know for myself, if I am overwhelmed by things to do, I just shut down because I don't know where to begin...

Ah yes, the laundry.
I have to agree with your theory about it pro-creating...quickly...like bacteria!

I feel the same way every morning when I stare at the heaping pile of clothes...and dishes...and mail. *sigh*

Put all of the laundry in a heavy duty construction bag, tie the top, and take it over to Goodwill. Then go to Kohl's and start over. You can open a charge account and get a 20% discount.

Natalie- There are times I don't know where to start with it.

Holly- Me too. Sometimes, it's so overwhelming, I feel almost paralyzed by it.

Momisodes- Yes, it multiplies like bacteria on a petrie dish.

Lceel- Love the idea! :D

I think you could do it! ;)

I don't know how you do it, my friend. 3 kids! *sigh*

I don't know why you worry about a little thing like laundry! I go through the same rebelliousness about laundry and housework. What can we do? Recycle? Wait I don't think that was the intention of recycling...save soap, save water! Wear dirty clothes! Come visit me at Oasis Writing Link. <3

Grandy- I'll be more than happy to loan you one or two. You can have your choice also. Monkey girl is too little to sleep away from home, but there's Computer Boy (he's 5) and, my daughter, the Mayor (7). Let me know, k?

Cynthia- Thanks for stopping by.
